Construction Debris Removal in Wilmington, DE
The remodel’s done, or close to it, and there’s a pile of drywall, old cabinets and torn-out flooring in the driveway. The city won’t take it. We will. We load it all, haul it off and sweep up behind us.
What we haul
Everything that comes out of a remodel
Kitchen, bathroom, basement or a whole-house renovation. Bagged, stacked or still in a heap where it landed.

The city won’t take it
Why remodel debris needs a hauler
Wilmington’s special pick-up through 311 takes bulky household items, but it doesn’t accept building materials or concrete. So when a DIY weekend turns into a pile of drywall and old tile, it doesn’t go out with the trash.
That’s where we come in. We bring the truck, the crew and the muscle, load everything ourselves, and take it to the right place: metal to recycling, clean wood sorted out, and the rest to the Delaware Solid Waste Authority’s Cherry Island Landfill.
- Tell us what’s in the pileDrywall and wood, or concrete and tile? Heavy material changes the price and how many trips it takes.
- Test before you tear outIf the house is older, have suspect tile, plaster or pipe wrap tested for asbestos before demo. We can’t haul it.
- We load everythingFrom the driveway, the curb, inside the house or a third-floor bathroom. No dumpster to fill yourself.
- We sweep up the nailsScrews and nails in a driveway mean flat tires. We sweep and check the area before we leave.
Debris removal cost
What construction debris removal costs
Light debris is priced by how much room it takes in the truck. Heavy materials are priced by weight, since the landfill charges by the ton. You get one all-in price on site before we load.
A truck full of drywall and cabinet boxes weighs far less than half a truck of broken tile and concrete, so the material matters as much as the size of the pile.

Dumpster or haul-away?
When a dumpster makes sense, and when we do
We’ll tell you honestly which one fits your job.
A dumpster fits
Long projects where debris comes out a little every day for weeks, and you have room in the driveway for it.
We fit
One-time cleanups, finished remodels, and jobs where the debris is inside the house and someone has to carry it out.
Both work
Some contractors keep a dumpster for daily waste and call us for the bulky pieces and the final cleanout.
Who calls us
Homeowners, contractors and flippers
DIY renovators. You tore out the old bathroom yourself and saved on labor. Now the debris is in the garage. We get it out in one trip.
Contractors and remodelers. Your crew should be building, not driving to the landfill. We handle cleanups and the final clean before the client walkthrough.
House flippers and landlords. Older Wilmington homes get gutted and rebuilt all the time. We clear the demo debris fast so the next trade can start.
Deck, fence and shed teardowns. Old pressure-treated decking, fence panels and a rotted shed are all part of the job.
FAQ
Construction debris removal questions
How much does construction debris removal cost in Wilmington, DE?
Most remodel cleanups run $300 to $800 per truckload. A small pile from one bathroom or a few sheets of drywall can come in around $150 to $250. Heavy materials like concrete, brick, tile and roofing shingles are priced by weight, because that’s how the landfill charges for them.
Will the city pick up construction debris?
No. Wilmington’s 311 special pick-up does not accept building materials or concrete. Remodel debris has to go out with a contractor, a dumpster or a hauler like us.
Is it cheaper than renting a dumpster?
It depends on the job. A dumpster makes sense for a long project where debris comes out a little every day. For a one-time cleanup, we’re usually the better deal: no dumpster sitting in your driveway for a week, no rental days to track, and we do all the loading.
Do you take concrete and brick?
Yes, in limited amounts per load, because concrete and brick get heavy fast and the truck has a weight limit. They’re priced by weight. For a whole patio or driveway, tell us when you call and we’ll plan the right number of trips.
What about asbestos or old plaster?
We don’t haul anything that contains or might contain asbestos. Older homes can have it in floor tiles, pipe insulation, plaster and siding, so get suspect material tested before demolition. Asbestos has to be removed and disposed of by a licensed abatement contractor.
Do you work for contractors?
Yes. General contractors, remodelers, flippers and property managers call us for one-time cleanups, final cleanouts before a walkthrough, and regular pickups on longer jobs.
